Henri - Telecom

Whether for residents or the community, access to high-speed Internet is an essential need. As part of the Haute-Mauricie LTE project, Ambra Telecom (Ecotel) and Henri have joined forces to serve residents of the Haute-Mauricie region. The collaboration between these two telecommunications companies has made it possible to offer three services to the community:

High-speed Internet
Television
Landline Telephony

Ambra Telecom worked in partnership with the government programs Connect to Innovate and Québec Branché to finance the Haute-Mauricie LTE project. These two programs invested in the deployment of high-speed wireless Internet services in rural communities that, in 2017, had no access to high-speed technology or LTE service. It should be noted that this project addressed a significant gap in telecommunications infrastructure in the Haute-Mauricie region.

Officially launched in 2019, the large-scale project led by the two partners includes more than 500 km of fiber optics and 15 telecommunications towers. The project is now complete and all targeted regions are serviced.
