ABOUT US
Critical connectivity
Founded in 2009 as ECOTEL, and renamed Ambra Telecom in 2026, we are a Canadian cellular operator registered with the ITU and the CRTC that deploys robust infrastructure to provide coverage in remote areas and automate processes for numerous industrial clients. Since 2017, Ambra Telecom has notably implemented the Haute-Mauricie LTE project, which involved deploying high-speed wireless Internet services in rural communities that currently have neither access to high-speed technology nor LTE service. Ambra Telecom has also deployed the cellular network in Haute-Mauricie to communities that still lacked access to cellular service. The project is nearly complete, but construction of two new towers will be finished in 2026.
Connectivity that enables more
Our infrastructures deliver tangible benefits by improving access to public and digital services, supporting economic growth and local businesses, facilitating the implementation of telehealth and distance learning, and enhancing safety and emergency response capabilities.
